MKE’s next-generation tracked combat vehicle combines electric/hybrid propulsion, high mobility and reduced acoustic and infrared signatures, offering a new approach to future battlefield operations.

Türkiye is pushing the boundaries of armoured vehicle technology with the DAĞHAN H-620, a next-generation tracked combat platform developed by the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE).

Positioned in the 17–20 tonne class, DAĞHAN is designed to combine the mobility and protection expected from a modern armoured vehicle with the advantages of electric and hybrid propulsion.

Silent Mobility as a Battlefield Advantage

The platform’s most distinctive capability is its ability to operate using electric propulsion, enabling significantly quieter movement during selected phases of an operation.
On the modern battlefield, where acoustic and thermal signatures can expose even highly protected platforms, reducing detectability can provide a critical tactical advantage.
DAĞHAN’s architecture is therefore designed to support missions requiring low-signature movement, reconnaissance, surveillance, tactical approach and operations in complex terrain.

Electric Power, Extended Endurance

Rather than relying solely on batteries, DAĞHAN employs a generator-assisted electric/hybrid architecture designed to combine silent mobility with extended operational endurance.
The platform is reported to offer a range of up to 830 kilometres, giving commanders greater flexibility during long-range deployments and sustained operations.

Built for Different Combat Configurations

DAĞHAN can accommodate remotely operated weapon systems in the 20–40 mm class, allowing the platform to be adapted to different battlefield requirements.
Its architecture also enables the vehicle to fulfil multiple roles, from protected personnel transport to armed combat and reconnaissance missions.

A New Generation of Turkish Land Warfare Technology

The DAĞHAN H-620 reflects a broader transformation taking place across the defence industry.

As militaries increasingly seek platforms with lower signatures, greater energy efficiency and autonomous or electrified capabilities, electric and hybrid propulsion is emerging as an important technology for future ground combat systems.

With its combination of armour, mobility, electric propulsion and reduced signatures, DAĞHAN represents Türkiye’s move toward a new generation of battlefield platforms—where surviving the first detection can be just as important as delivering the first shot.

DAĞHAN H-620 is not simply an electric armoured vehicle. It is a glimpse into how the battlefield of tomorrow could move: quieter, more efficient and harder to detect.
