WARSAW, Poland — The Polish Ministry of National Defence (MON) has officially unveiled the K-03 “Ryś” (Lynx) multi-terrain camouflage pattern and a fully modernized combat uniform system. Designed to replace the legacy wz. 93 “Pantera” camouflage after 33 years of service, the new uniform ecosystem incorporates soldier-driven ergonomic refinements, advanced material compositions, and enhanced multispectral signal reduction across daylight and optronic/night-vision spectrums.
Developed by the Military Research and Implementation Centre for Uniformed Services in collaboration with Special Forces personnel, K-03 “Ryś” features a five-color palette optimized for Central European terrain. The pattern employs micro- and macro-geometry with non-repeating tonal transitions to disrupt human anatomical outlines and degrade optical detection. Transition and fielding begin in late 2026, targeting full professional force issue by 2028 under a 1 billion PLN (€228M) program allocation.
