BAMAKO, Mali — The Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs of Mali, in coordination with defense industry organizers, has announced the 2nd edition of the Bamako International Defense and Security Exhibition (BAMEX 2026), scheduled to take place at the Bamako Exhibitions Park (FEBAK) from November 9–13, 2026. Bringing together over 75 official delegations, defense ministers, and military stakeholders from across 35 countries, the international defense trade show serves as a critical strategic hub for West Africa and the broader Sahel region to evaluate advanced air, land, sea, and counter-terrorism security technologies.
The platform emphasizes localized capability development, C-UAS integration, border surveillance, tactical mobility, and joint defense cooperation across African defense forces. Featuring three core exposition days paired with two operational “Demo Days,” BAMEX 2026 provides global aerospace and defense manufacturers an entry point to showcase armored combat vehicles, uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), ISR optics, tactical communications, and infantry equipment tailored to asymmetric, high-heat, and desert operational environments.
