ORLANDO, Fla. — Lockheed Martin announced on October 8, 2026, that it has signed a Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contract with the Philippine Department of National Defense (DND) to supply an S-70i Black Hawk Full Flight Simulator (FFS), Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT), and specialized instructional courseware to the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
The agreement represents the inaugural order for Lockheed Martin’s dedicated S-70i Black Hawk synthetic training portfolio. Under the terms of the deal, Lockheed Martin will provide continuous operational support, fleet sustainment, and spare parts logistics through 2032. The infrastructure creates an in-country pilot and technician pipeline, allowing the PAF to transition from domestic synthetic training environments while continuing legacy flight instruction at the Sikorsky Training Academy in the United States.
