BAMAKO — The Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs of Mali, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Mali, will host the Bamako International Defense and Security Exhibition (BAMEX 2026) at the Bamako Exhibitions Park (FEBAK) from November 9 to 13, 2026. Organized by Prontaron Defense Industry Organization (The Peak Defense), the five-day defense summit aims to bring together military delegations, procurement authorities, and defense technology manufacturers from across 54 African nations and international defense hubs.
The exhibition highlights expanding defense industrial cooperation across the Sahel region, focusing on modern counter-terrorism, border security, counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), electronic warfare, and armored land systems. Key international defense primes—including Türkiye’s ASELSAN, BAYKAR, and ROKETSAN, alongside China’s NORINCO—will display advanced platforms tailored for austere and high-threat operational environments. A key feature of BAMEX 2026 is the integrated two-day Live Product Demonstration module (November 12–13), allowing official procurement delegations to evaluate live-fire, sensor fusion, and mobility capabilities under simulated field conditions.
