BAKU — Azerbaijani state defense enterprise AzerSilah has publicly presented its newly developed armed Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) during the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX 2026) at the Baku Expo Center. Developed utilizing domestic engineering capabilities, the tactical robotic combat platforms are designed to enhance the Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ frontline fire support, reconnaissance, and perimeter defense capabilities across contested operational environments.
The debut of AzerSilah’s armed UGVs reflects Baku’s broader strategic focus on accelerating defense industrial autonomy and expanding indigenous land robotics manufacturing. Engineered to conduct remote tactical engagements in high-risk zones, the platforms integrate modular Remote Weapon Stations (RWS), multi-spectral sensor payloads, and secure tactical data link architectures, providing infantry units with an organic force multiplier while minimizing risk to human personnel during direct combat operations.
