ŞANLIURFA — The 11th International Inventions Fair (TÜRKPATENT ISIF’26) has officially opened at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport as part of TEKNOFEST Güneydoğu, running from September 30 to October 4, 2026. Organized by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, alongside the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and defense engineering prime STM (Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş.), the event serves as a primary international platform for intellectual property, technology commercialization, and advanced R&D innovation.
The 2026 iteration showcases 367 patented inventions from 11 participating nations, including Türkiye, Azerbaijan, France, Iran, Japan, Canada, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, and Yemen. Alongside technical workshops, panels, and intellectual property awareness seminars, ISIF’26 features competitive evaluation tracks awarding 12 special prizes in addition to gold, silver, and bronze medals. Integrated within TEKNOFEST Güneydoğu, the fair operates in tandem with aerial flight demonstrations featuring indigenous military platforms—including the T-70 general utility helicopter, T-129 ATAK attack helicopter, Bayraktar TB3 MALE UCAV, and SH-70 naval helicopter—highlighting Türkiye’s expanding domestic defense, aerospace, and dual-use technological ecosystem.
