WASHINGTON — General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) presented a one-eighth-scale model of its Wolf XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition. The full-scale prototype is currently undergoing rigorous U.S. Army developmental trials, following its initial delivery to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on August 21, 2026.
The Wolf platform is designed to replace the legacy M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle fleet under the U.S. Army’s XM30 competition. Engineered around a “born digital” architecture and the Department of Defense’s Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), the Wolf integrates open hardware and software interfaces to streamline persistent electronic, sensor, and lethality upgrades across its operational lifecycle. Seven additional prototypes are scheduled for delivery to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, at Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood), Texas, for soldier touchpoint evaluations.
