Azerbaijani Defence Industry Unveils Zireh HMS30 Mobile Counter-UAS Air Defence System Azerbaijani Defence Industry Unveils Zireh HMS30 Mobile Counter-UAS Air Defence System

BAKU, Azerbaijan — Azerbaijani defence technology enterprise Zireh has officially unveiled the HMS30 mobile air defence system during the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX 2026) at the Baku Expo Center. Configured primarily as a point-defence counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS), the HMS30 integrates a remotely operated turret with twin 30 mm automatic cannons onto a mobile KAMAZ 6×6/8×8 tactical truck platform.

The system combines day/night electro-optical observation, laser rangefinding, gyro-stabilized fire control, and automated target tracking to engage low-altitude aerial threats and secondary ground targets. Designed as an adaptable kinetic layer within networked air defence networks, the HMS30 features modular architecture capable of incorporating active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar suites and advanced electro-optical sensors for expanded threat acquisition.
