Anchoring the showcase are platforms developed under the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapons (NGSW) program, featuring the XM250 (SIG-LMG) lightweight belt-fed machine gun, the XM7 (MCX-SPEAR) rifle, and the SIG-MMG 338 medium machine gun.
The exhibition display highlights SIG SAUER’s transition toward high-velocity 6.8×51mm SIG FURY hybrid-ammunition architecture alongside specialized .338 Norma Magnum precision machine gun platforms. Designed to overcome modern body armor threats and deliver superior standoff capabilities over legacy 5.56×45mm NATO and 7.62×51mm NATO small arms, the featured weapon systems incorporate integrated suppressors, quick-change barrel assemblies, and modular optic-mounting interfaces for infantry and special operation forces (SOF).
