SOLANA BEACH, Calif. — AEVEX Corp. has announced the development of Specter, a high-speed, turbojet-powered autonomous platform engineered for deep-strike and standoff operations in contested environments. Developed in partnership with advanced manufacturing firm Divergent Technologies, the Specter platform integrates a software-defined architecture with modular hardware to deliver scalable, high-rate one-way attack and multi-mission capabilities.

The platform incorporates Divergent’s proprietary digital manufacturing technology, DAPS™ (Divergent Adaptive Production System), enabling rapid design iteration, localized production resilience, and high-volume scalability from early engineering phases. Built to operate in GPS-denied and heavily jammed airspace, Specter utilizes AEVEX’s combat-proven CompassX open-standards autonomy suite. Its core feature is a modular, swappable nose section that allows operational units to field-swap payload packages—including kinetic explosive warheads, non-kinetic effectors, electronic warfare (EW) suites, and ISR sensor payloads—without requiring structural airframe redesigns.
