MOSCOW — Russian state defense conglomerate Rostec, through its subsidiary United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), has delivered a new batch of Su-57 fifth-generation multirole stealth fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). The newly handed-over airframes feature a modernized “new technical configuration” incorporating avionics and structural refinements derived from combat operations and flight testing.
The aircraft completed full factory acceptance trials and military pilot evaluations across multiple operating regimes prior to delivery. Key updates in this technical configuration center on enhanced onboard digital processing, upgraded electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures, and an expanded weapons management system engineered to integrate next-generation air-to-air and air-to-surface precision-guided munitions.
