Türkiye’s next-generation TAYFUN Block-4 ballistic missile is approaching a major milestone, with its entry into the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces expected in the near future.
ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci stated that the TAYFUN Block-4 will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces “very soon,” marking a significant step forward in Türkiye’s long-range precision-strike capabilities.
Unveiled publicly at IDEF 2025, the TAYFUN Block-4 is described as a hypersonic ballistic missile designed to engage high-value and strategic targets.
According to publicly available technical information, the missile is approximately **10 meters long**, has a **938 mm diameter**, and weighs more than **7 tons**. It is designed with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead and is intended to provide high-precision strike capability against strategic targets.
The system is considered the most advanced member of the TAYFUN missile family currently revealed to the public. Its development represents another step in Türkiye’s efforts to expand its indigenous long-range missile capabilities.
