ROME — The Italian Army (Esercito Italiano) has executed its first major defense contract for the INEOS Grenadier 4×4, becoming the first NATO armed force to formally adopt the platform as its standard light utility vehicle.
Brokered via INEOS Automotive’s regional distribution partner ATflow, deliveries are scheduled to commence in early 2027. The commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) acquisition expands the Grenadier’s market penetration across European defense and security sectors, following adoption by special intervention, counterterrorism, and border patrol units across Germany, France, Spain, Poland, and Hungary.
