WASHINGTON — Moog Inc. unveiled a highly mobile Robotic/Future Platforms Solution centered on its Lightweight Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP) during the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition.
With a base assembly weighing under 950 lbs (~431 kg), the Lightweight RIwP adapts the software architecture, fire-control interfaces, and sustainment infrastructure of the operational Standard RIwP—fielded on the U.S. Army’s Stryker-based M-SHORAD (SGT STOUT) vehicles—into a reduced footprint optimized for light tactical vehicles, 6×6 platforms, and uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs). The featured demonstration configuration integrated Moog’s Kestrel 40 mm missile and Aeon’s Zeus tactical strike missile system, paired with Echodyne’s EchoShield radar and Picogrid’s Legion digital integration software aboard a BC Customs PSXV-XL-6X6 light tactical vehicle.
